How we choose stories, check facts, and use AI in our newsroom.

How we choose stories

Only what matters

We publish news that actually makes a difference for our audience: new models, major tool updates, and big moves in the AI market. No press releases just for the sake of it.

Scored on 10 criteria

Every story is scored on 10 criteria: real-world value and monetization potential, solving audience pain points, a clear “what to do next,” a primary source, how significant the update is, viral potential, inspiration, accessibility, and how easy it is for a broad audience to understand. We publish the stories with the highest overall usefulness score.

60 primary sources

We monitor 60 sources, grouped into three tiers by authority. Official AI company blogs and trusted tech publications come first. See the list →

How we use AI

AI assists, editors decide

We use AI for first-pass processing and formatting. Every story is reviewed by our editors — we check the facts and add context and a local angle for our Russian-speaking audience.

Links to primary sources

Every story links to its primary source. We don't pass off other people's work as our own — we explain it.

How we correct errors

Openly and fast

If we find a mistake in a story, we fix it and note what changed. Spotted an inaccuracy? Message us on Telegram at @aigoby.
