The max file size is 5 GB — enough for most videos up to 30–60 minutes long. For very long videos, we recommend shrinking the file first with our video compressor.
We use optimized codecs to keep quality loss to a minimum. MP4 and MKV give you the best quality at the smallest file size. Converting to GIF lowers quality (that's a limitation of the format). Audio is re-encoded to variable-bitrate MP3, so quality depends on the original.
